The works described within this specification pertain to the fit-out at the Northern Territory Archives building at Millner, Darwin.
The works involve the fitout of a Northern Territory Government data centre facility comprising Server Room, Switchroom, Gaseous Suppression Cylinder Storage Room, Entrance Room and provisions for a future server room. The works also involve the construction and fitout of a Mechanical Plant Enclosure.
The works to establish the Government Data Centre are procured as four separate packages of work:
* Package 1: Supply of long lead time items
* Package 2: Early Works - Demolition
* Package 3: Data Centre Fit-out and Mechanical Plant Area Works
* Package 4: Electrical Infrastructure Construction and Fit-out Works
The works are to be undertaken within an existing operational building. Any works and isolations which may result in disruption to current building operation shall be approved by the Superintendent prior.
