RFT 16 - 2016 Turramurra Memorial Park Amenities Upgrades.
The exiting amenities earmarked for upgrades were constructed in the early to mid-seventies as such are significantly affected by ageing and elements deterioration. The exiting terra cotta roof has reached its end of life cycle as such it requires immediate replacement with water ingress affecting the structural integrity of the internal building fabric (i.e. roof framing & fixtures).
Additional DDA amenities have been proposed to cater for additional usage resulting from recent playgrounds upgrades.
Accordingly Council is seeking Tenders from reputable Contractors to undertake the planned upgrades, which will include the remediation of existing roofing, guttering, drainage system and external lighting.
