Tender Description
The City of Sydney invites Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to provide basic maintenance and inspection services for Council's Public Art Collection. The successful tenderer will have relevant experience and be capable of delivering quality work that meets the City's high standards and operational system.
The principle activities for the basic maintenance services are maintaining 172 public art items on the public domain and parks around the Local Government Area; undertaking a routine basic maintenance program; incident reporting including identifying necessary specialist conservation work; and site data collection to feed into the City's Corporate Asset Management System.
The successful tenderer will be required to enter into a contract with the City that will run for a period of three (3) years. At the City's discretion, an optional two, one year (1) extensions may be awarded.
Tenderers are required to demonstrate their capacity, financial and technical capability for undertaking the services, have had previous relevant experience on similar projects, demonstrate a sound understanding of the requirements and a commitment to WHS and environmentally sound principles.
