The Department of Fisheries requires the supply of up to 840,000 tamperproof security seals (tags) for use in the Western Australian Rock Lobster Fishery.

The Western Rock Lobster Fishery is a Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Certified Fishery, world renowned for its outstanding management.

In 2010, this Fishery moved from an input based management arrangement to an output based (quota) management arrangement. The tags are required to seal and identify containers used for storage and movement of rock lobster within the Fishery.
