Air-conditioning at Yugumbir State School

⁠⁠⁠DET is seeking submissions from suitably qualified commercial air-conditioning / electrical contractors for the design and installation of air conditioning systems and upgrade of the electrical switch board at Yugumbir State School.

The Yugumbir State School has planned to install air conditioning systems to classrooms at Yugumbir State School under an air-conditioning program consisting of 4 stages delivered over a 4 year period. This offer is for stage one only of the air-conditioning program.

The successful Offeror would be required to supply and install air conditioning systems, of appropriate size and capacity to service the classrooms as specified in the scope of works (see “Part B - Contract Details - Schedule 1 Requirements” for full details). The air conditioning systems and their designs are required to comply with the specification within the Invitation to Offer attached and Schools Standard Air Conditioning Specification.

Scope of Works
The scope of work to be delivered under this offer (Stage 1) includes an upgrade of the electrical switch board as per the electrical inspection report and provision of air-conditioning systems to fifteen (15) classrooms and two (2) general purpose office space within the following four (4) classroom blocks at Yugumbir State School.

Site Visit
The Customer will hold a site visit at 10:00am on Friday, 2 September 2016 at Yugumbir State School, Vansittart Road, Regents Park, Qld, 4118.

Suppliers wishing to attend this site visit are required to register their intention to attend by 3:00pm Thursday, 1 September 2016 by email to BSM@Yugumbirss.eq.edu.au. The registration email should contain the names those persons who will be attending, their contact details and the company name. A maximum of two (2) representatives from each organisation may attend the site visit.
