Health and Social Policy Branch has issued an RFT to the marketplace seeking a suitably qualified consultancy to conduct an independent review (referred to as the “Preliminary Review”) of Healthdirect Australia Ltd (“the Company”). The key objective of the Preliminary Review is to inform the Shareholders on all matters to be addressed in the 2018 to 2022 funding period.
Importantly, the Preliminary Review is intended to be future focused and make recommendations that inform future functions of the Company from 2018 onwards. The Review needs to consider the national and jurisdictional strategic policy context including the evolving nature of the telehealth and digital health technology in Australia.
