Tender Description
Suitably qualified contractors are invited to tender for demolition work, between Richmond River and Pimlico (Sections 10 to 11).
The scope of services includes, but is not limited to demolition of pools, storage tanks, sewerage systems, houses, sheds, cattle yards, regular and hazardous waste disposal and making good (12 properties).
All tenderers must hold a Workcover Class 2 Restricted Demolition Licence.
This tender provides an opportunity for local industry participation.
The NSW Government’s Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the NSW Government’s Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for Procurement for: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) apply to this project.
It is a requirement for this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme at the time of entering into the contract for the contract work and while the contract work is being carried out. Information on the Scheme is available on the Australian Government website at www.fsc.gov.au.
Compliance with the NSW Code and NSW Guidelines is a pre-requisite to submitting any response to a procurement process (expression of interest or tender response) and to any successful application being awarded. Copies of the NSW Code and NSW Guidelines are available at www.procurepoint.nsw.gov.au and www.industrialrelations.nsw.gov.au respectively.
This is a joint Australian and NSW government funded project.
The Building Code 2013 (Building Code) and the Supporting Guidelines to the Building Code 2013 (Supporting Guidelines) applies to this project. This document can be viewed at the Australian Government website at www.employment.gov.au/BuildingCode.
All applicants must comply with the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.
