Tender Description
A Natural Disaster event occurred in May 2015. A number of sites were damaged due to this event. McFadyens Bridge was damaged. The bridge is being replaced. Some of the funding will be from NDRRA. This project will be managed under one design and construct contract with four distinct stages:
1. Concept Design;
2. Detailed Design
3. Final design; and
4. Construction.
Tenderers will also be required to price the restoration works which would be subject to NDRRA funding. The restoration work will not be performed as part of the Contract.
The bridge is culturally significant to locals and may not be demolished/removed as part of the contract. A Provisional sum has been included which will also be required to be priced by the tenderers.
