Tender Description
CCRC 1617-006 - Cassowary Coast Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified Contractors to tender for the role of Principal Contractor in the construction of the Mission Beach Aquatic Facility (MBAF).
Council will review and assess submissions for this Expression of Interest (EOI) in order to finalise a shortlist of qualified Tenderers to submit for the final Tender of the works. Council reserves the right to amend the number of shortlist tenders however at this stage it is envisioned that a minimum of four (4) shortlisted tenders will be invited to submit for the final price.
The contract will be delivered using a traditional lump sum contract (AS4000 / AS2124) and there will be some early works undertaken in 2016 by CCRC Works Department. These works primarily involve the following:
* Widening of the MARCS park access driveway
* Installation of the ERGON pad mount transformer
* Diversion of the existing cycle path
* Installation of temporary stormwater and drainage
* Installation of gabions to the Oval side of the access road
The attached extract from the Detailed Design Drawings shows the current scope of the project. The DD drawings are currently being developed into Contract Documentation under a Traditional Lump Sum contract arrangement.
