2016/17 SCS Northern Regions - Mechanical Repairers

⁠⁠⁠A workshop hourly rate, a call-out hourly rate, a travel rate and floating rate is required for a heavy vehicle mechanical repairer with suitable equipment, machinery and workshop capabilities to repair and service heavy vehicles for the Soil Conservation Service throughout either the Gwydir and Northern Tablelands region of NSW. Repairs to plant may be required at project sites, or SCS works depots throughout the nominated region, or at the contractor’s workshop, depending upon the nature of the repairs. Machinery that may require repair includes the following:-
* Bulldozers
* Excavators
* Tipper Trucks
* Prime Mover
* Crane Truck
* Backhoes
* Front End Loaders
* Any of the above with additional attachments
* Various ancillary plant

This list is not exhaustive and is subject to change. The repairer will be required to supply all labour, consumables and minor servicing parts. Labour will include workshop and call-out rates. SCS will retain the option to supply major parts.

Mechanical repairers are not expected to be able to service and repair vehicles and equipment in all of the above stated regions as a number of mechanical repairers will be sourced to cater for the large geographical area of service requirements.
