Tender Description
The purpose of this Expression of Interest (EOI) is for a customized (2 chamber) glovebox to be supplied to ANSTO Nuclear Services - Waste Operations.
This glovebox will be deployed for the batch treatment of fluorinated chemicals in a dry inert (N2) environment that is free of moisture and under negative working pressure (-200Pa). The presence of moisture will result in the formation of HF(g), that is both highly corrosive and extremely toxic. Therefore it is imperative to maintain a working environment where the moisture concentration is below 1ppm at all times. Furthermore the HF(g) concentration also has to be maintained below 1ppm using a closed loop gas purification system. Under pressure protection shall be provided to ensure the glovebox maintains structural integrity.
