Tender Description
Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) is seeking to conduct a market sounding for the upcoming design, construction and support of simulator works for the Advanced train control Migration System (AMS) program, and the Operational Capacity Program. In particular TfNSW is seeking to inform and engage with the market for the procurement of suitable contractor(s) to deliver:
* New ETCS / ATP Driver Desktop Simulator System (DDSS) units to enable the training of train drivers to operate and interface with an ETCS Driver Machine Interface (DMI);
* New relocatable Train Simulators to improve a driver's skills in precision driving; keeping to the timetable; and efficiently finding and managing faults; and
* Upgrades to the existing full-cab train driver simulators located at the Transport Training Centre (TTC) at Petersham, New South Wales.
