Tender Description
The works under this Contract consist of construction of roundabout, including pavement, drainage, associated kerb and gutter, and footpath alterations for South Street and Jubilee Street intersection, Ulladulla.
The scope of work under the Contract shall be for all works as described in the Contract Documents that is necessary to provide works that are suitable for the intended purpose, and includes, but is not limited to the following:
* Site Establishment and demobilisation
* Locate Services (relocation or lowering of services is not expected to be necessary at these intersections)
* Removal and disposal of existing kerb and gutter, kerb ramps, concrete paths and driveways as indicated on the plans, and reestablishment by turfing with net free kikuyu
* Drainage works, including pipes and pits
* Supply and installation of rubber roundabout apron
* Concrete works including kerb and gutter, kerb ramps, footpath, medians and central Island
* Excavation and disposal of existing pavement and replacement with lean mix concrete and AC
* Removal and disposal of obsolete traffic signs and supply and installation of traffic signs
* Linemarking
The Contractor shall allow for all other work not listed separately but necessary to fulfil the scope and true intent of the Contract documents. The Contractor shall be responsible to supply all labour, plant, materials and services necessary to provide works that are suitable for their intended purpose.
