Cabinet and the Treasurer require the completion of a Scoping Study by a suitably qualified consultancy firm (Contractor) to identify potential commercialisation opportunities imbedded in the HomeStart Loan Portfolio, and to also identify other value pockets that currently form part of the HomeStart operations whereby the benefits could potentially be returned to Government.
Opportunities identified in the Scoping Study will assist Government decision making regarding the viability of any commercialisation potential, and realisation of benefits in other value pockets currently residing with HomeStart.
Subject to the findings of the Scoping Study and Cabinet approval, the Scoping Study may be released during a future market process for a lead commercial / transaction advisor.
