Tender Description
The Contract comprises of the design and construction of a raised boardwalk structure over an area of saltmarsh near Lucinda Avenue, Killarney Vale. The boardwalk is required to prevent further deterioration of the saltmarsh community arising from pedestrian and cycle passage through the area. The new facility will also provide opportunity for community education and facilitate tour groups.
Full details of the scope of work and any exclusions are included in the attached Specification (Attachment 2).
A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held at the Site located at the northern end of McLean Street, Killarney Vale, commencing at 10am on Tuesday 26 July, 2016
This is a lump sum contract based on AS4902-2000 General Conditions of Contract. The contract period for completion is 26 weeks from the date of the Letter of Acceptance of the Tender.
The tendered lump sum must include all costs necessary to provide the works under the Contract, including without limitation the cost of all personnel, materials, plant and equipment, fuel, consumables, mobilisation, demobilisation, support systems, overheads, profit, travelling time, expenses, disbursements, fees and charges and all other associated costs.
The fee and rates are fixed and not subject to escalation or review
Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as a basis for entering into a Contract with the Preferred Tenderer.
