Tender Description
The Department of Parks and Wildlife is seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified individuals or organisations to develop and operate a kiosk at the Kalbarri Skywalk site at West Loop in Kalbarri National Park.
Kalbarri National Park is one of the State’s tourism icons with spectacular coastal cliffs, rugged Murchison River Gorge, vast sand plains, amazing wildflower displays and fascinating Aboriginal and post-settlement heritage. The park provides a stunning setting for tourists to enjoy a wide range of activities including hiking, bushwalking, sightseeing, whale watching, canoeing, swimming, abseiling, rock climbing, photography and contemplation.
The proposed kiosk is part of the $20 million Kalbarri Skywalk and National Park Tourist Infrastructure Project, a larger Royalties for Regions funded project that aims to reinvigorate local and regional tourism.
If you think that you have the skills, experience and finance necessary to undertake this operation, the Department of Parks and Wildlife would like to hear from you. It is essential that interested parties obtain the Guidelines for Submissions available at parks.dpaw.wa.gov.au/for-business/commercial-opportunities or by emailing matthew.king@dpaw.wa.gov.au or by contacting Matthew on (08) 9334 0499.
The closing date for submissions is 2:30pm (WST) Wednesday, 3 August 2016.
