Request for Heritage Adviser Services

⁠⁠⁠Waverley Council requires the services of an experienced heritage adviser to advise on Development Applications and occasionally provide input to strategic planning policy within the Waverley Local Government Area.

The successful service provider should have the following skills:
* Tertiary Qualifications in Town Planning, Architecture, Heritage Planning or equivalent.
* Sound knowledge and application of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and associated legislation, particularly in relation to Heritage Planning.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in heritage related issues in a planning context.
* Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets and manage multiple projects.
* Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team and independently.
* Highly developed verbal and written report writing skills.
* Demonstrated experience in community consultation.
* A strong commitment to delivering quality customer service.
* A positive, professional and co-operative approach to working with others.
* Commitment to equal employment opportunity, work health and safety, risk management, environmental protection and ethical conduct principles.
* Maintenance of continuing professional development within the heritage profession.
