Sale by Tender of Impounded Horses

⁠⁠⁠The following horses have been impounded on the Town common and have been unclaimed and are now offered for sale by tender.

Tenders must be marked ‘Confidential tender for Impounded Horse’ and include your contact details together with which horse you are interested in and the price you wish to pay.

Tenders must be placed in the tender box at the Council office 18 Herbert Street Boulia on or before 4.00pm Friday 15th July 2016.

If you are the owner of the animals that were impounded you must notify the Council immediately and complete an application to depasture stock on the common and pay agistment prior to claiming your horse. Failure to do so will result in the animal being sold.

Please note as the animals have been impounded on the Town Common the unlawful removal of the horses from impounding on the Town Common is an offence and subject to 50 penalty points.
