Tenders are invited for the jet pressure drain cleaning and camera survey works.

The Infrastructure Maintenance unit makes a significant contribution within Council by providing a safe and well maintained drainage network. The requirements for the Service of this Contract are to provide jet pressure cleaning and camera surveys for the provision of drainage programmed maintenance works and the completion of reactive drainage obstruction requests. This will assist the Infrastructure Maintenance unit in maintaining Council's drainage assets.

The drainage system comprises approximately 314 km of drainage pipes, over 13,500 pits and 2600 metres of culverts. The drainage system also comprises of PVC and some asbestos cement pipes. The majority of brick pits are located in Stonnington west of Kooyong Road with the remainder of pits being generally concrete.
