16030 - Maranoa Regional Council owns the land named “Racecourse North Estate” off Racecourse Road in Injune. It is planned to subdivide this land into a maximum of 30 lots (29 x Residential; 1 x Pump Station).
Once constructed, Council plans to progressively release lots to the market as the demand for developed land increases, and is currently investigating construction of a small housing / duplex option to meet current housing requirements within the town area.
This tender is only to construct the services for these lots, comprising of water, sewer, electricity and telecommunication. Council currently plans to construct the earthworks for this development as well as the road and stormwater drainage, however other Contractors may be engaged throughout the project.
The subdivision is made up of 3 stages. Council is inviting suitably skilled and experienced Contractors to submit a fixed price tender for each and all stages. Council has a fixed budget for this project and may not have adequate funds to complete all three stages. The Contractor needs to consider this as part of the pricing to ensure that no cost implications are incurred if single stages are awarded.
