Callide Valley Flood Gauge Network Upgrade with ALERT Communications

⁠⁠⁠As part of Banana Shire Council’s disaster management and associated community safety responsibilities, Council intends to upgrade existing rain and river height monitoring stations within the Callide Valley, via the installation of ALERT communications, to allow for meaningful and timely flood warnings to at risk areas of the Shire.

A tender is called for the upgrade of the existing sites to meet the Australian Bureau of Meteorology standard for ALERT Stations. Tenders shall be prepared in accordance with the conditions of tendering available from Council.

The Tender documents are to be received at the Banana Shire Council Administration Complex located at 62 Valentine Plains Road, Biloela by 11:00am 6 June 2016.
