Expression of Interest Design-Construct Contractor for the Expansion of the Port Moresby International Terminal Facilities and Associated Aircraft Apron Works

⁠⁠⁠The Government of Papua New Guinea (GoPNG) has approved the redevelopment of the Port Moresby International Airport (PMIA) under a Design-Construct Bridging delivery model to develop the airport into a world class international airport in the region.

The National Airports Corporation of Papua New Guinea will issue five (5) Tender Packages separately as follows;
1. Expansion to the International Terminal Building and aircraft apron extension
2. Aircraft pavement works
3. Security Fencing
4. Power and Airfield Lighting System Upgrade
5. Expansion to Domestic Terminal Building

The Total estimated value of these Five Projects above is K550 million to be funded by GoPNG. The first Tender Package is estimated at the value of K300million and the rest of the tender packages will be at total sum of K250million.

The first tender package of the development of PMIA is the expansion of the international terminal building to include a VIP facility as well as associated airfield and apron facilities. The National Airports Corporation (NAC) seeks expressions of interest from reputable design and construction contractor organisations and/or consortiums with international experience in design and construction with the capacity to deliver a proposed expansion to the International Terminal Building and aircraft apron extension.

Submission of EOI:
Completed Expression of Interest must be labelled "Contract No. NAC-42-05EA21-A1. Port Moresby International Airport Redevelopment Project (JT2025) - Design & Construct Expansion of International Terminal and Aircraft Apron extension" and addressed and forwarded or hand delivered no later than 30 June 2016.

Only Contractors who satisfy the requirements of this EOI will be invited to submit a Proposal
