Transformer Oil & Gas Sampling and Analysis Services

⁠⁠⁠Sydney Trains has over 256 High Voltage transformers which supply power to the Sydney Trains network. The Technical Maintenance Plan for these transformers requires an oil sample to be taken and analysed every two years. Sydney Trains is seeking to engage a supplier to undertake oil & gas sampling and analysis for their Rectifier and Distribution transformers and other electrical equipment located at substations between Kiama, Newcastle, Bondi , Glenlee, Leppington and Wallerwang.

The Scope of Works includes the following:-
* Supply of labour and materials for taking oil and/or Buchholz gas samples from transformers located within Sydney Trains Substations or other storage locations;
* Undertake oil and/or gas analysis according to requirements provided by Sydney Trains and provide detailed report including graphs showing historical results and trending;
* Provide advice and recommended actions based on the oil and/or gas test results;
* Undertake oil and/or gas analysis on samples taken by Sydney Trains staff when required.
