Tender Description
Fraser Coast Regional Council invites tenders for construction works at Torquay between Torquay Boat Ramp west of Fraser Street and Robert Street.
The works consist of new coastal protection revetment walls for a total length of approximately 700 metres, in four (4) separable portions. Overall works include bulk earthworks, construction of revetment walls using rock and geotextile sand containers, timber and concrete staircases, stormwater outlet works, demolition of the existing Torquay timber and concrete boat ramps and construction of a new concrete boat ramp and construction of footings for a new surf lifesaving tower.
A compulsory pre-tender meeting will be held on 10 June 2016. Attendance at this meeting is required to form part of a conforming Tender.
