Supply of Electricty to A Group of Councils

⁠⁠⁠Tenders closing at 11:00am on Monday 6 June 2016, are invited for provision of electricity and associated services to the Local Government Areas of Armidale Regional Council, Narrabri Shire Council and Tamworth Regional Council. The Invitation of Tenders is being coordinating by Tamworth Regional Council under section 55 of the Local Government Act 1993 and Part 7 of the Local Government (General) Regulation 2005 relating to Tenders for the supply of electricity for major sites, with energy consumption of 160,000 KWH and associated services located within each Local Government Area.

Competitive bids are invited for the provision of electricity supply and associated services to each Council's contracted sites. Total electricity purchases for all contracted sites are over 19 GWh pa. The Group of Councils require reliable and effective electricity supply with a minimum impact on internal resources. The supply period all commence on 1 July 2016, and offers are requested for 1, 3 and 5 years.

Tenders may submit Individual Tenders for each of the three (3) participating Councils or pricing that would apply if all Councils with the Group elect to award their supply contract to the same Tenderer/ Supplier.
