Tender Description
Chevron Australia is seeking expressions of interest from service providers able to provide all or part of the waste management services required to support Company Operations.
The types of wastes generated by these activities are expected to include:
* Solid waste (both hazardous & non-hazardous) e.g. putrescible, construction, medical and recyclable wastes.
* Liquid waste (both hazardous & non-hazardous) e.g. sludges, septage, chemical, aqueous and hydrocarbon wastes.
Scope is as follows:
Waste management services including collection, processing, transport, disposal, quarantine and mercury disposal. Chevron is interested in service providers with capability in any or all of the following areas:
Waste Collection
Provision of personnel, waste vehicles, receptacles, equipment, systems and processes required for the collection of waste.
Waste Processing
Operation of onsite waste transfer facilities including provision of necessary personnel and equipment.
Waste Transportation
Provision of all necessary personnel, receptacles, vehicles, equipment, systems and processes required to transport waste to Chevron approved disposal facilities.
Waste Disposal
Disposal of waste at service provider or third party owned Chevron approved disposal facilities.
Quarantine
Provision of quarantine, including remediation, services to ensure that waste assets meet Chevron’s Barrow Island Quarantine Requirements.
Mercury
Provision of mercury transportation and disposal services.
Services may be required to support Chevron Australia Operations in Onslow, Barrow Island and/or other locations in mainland Western Australia.
