Plant and Truck Hire and Road Maintenance Services 2016/2018

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited for Council’s Panel Tender for the hire of plant and trucks (wet and dry) and Road Maintenance Services to Nambucca Shire Council for a 2 year period from 1 July 2016 to 30 June 2018 on an as required basis for the hire of the following items.
* Plant for construction and maintenance purposes
* Trucks and Truck and Trailer combinations
* Floats for transporting Plant to and from sites
* Water trucks for construction and maintenance purposes
* Road Maintenance Services (grading; grading/patch gravelling and gravel resheeting).

In order to qualify, it is essential that the appropriate statutory, insurance, quality, safety and environmental requirements are satisfied.

A selection of plant and trucks will be undertaken in accordance with criteria including, but not limited to, the ability and suitability of the plant to perform a given task, past performance of the equipment and operator, the net hire cost to Council, equipment reliability and availability.

The contract is a 2 year contract with a 1 year option. At the conclusion of the first year contractors will be able to submit revised offers which will be assessed and ranked for inclusion on the panel of contractors for the following year.

Closing Date and Time: Submissions can only be received electronically and must be submitted via the Tenderlink Electronic Tender Box no later than 2.00pm on Tuesday 14 June 2016.

Council’s Policy advises the canvassing of Councillors and/or Council Staff will disqualify any Tenderer.
