Supply & Delivery of Hardware Consumables and Associated Products

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited for the supply and delivery of Hardware Consumables & Associated Products for a three (3) year period with the option to extend for a further two (2) years.

There are in excess of 250 various hardware consumables, fasteners & associated products used through out the Corporations area of operations for repairs and maintenance of Water and Wastewater assets.

Items within this category range from abrasive discs, adhesives, batteries, bolts, brackets, castors, cutting disc, nails, drill bits, landscaping materials, lubricants nuts, rivets, screws, shackles, various tools, and various other consumable hardware and fasteners items.

Due to the large variety of items within this category and the low turnover of some items they do not form part of the managed inventory within our warehouse structure, instead the preferred and most effective method is to carry minimal stock for emergency / breakdown requirements within our field services vehicles and have items required for scheduled maintenance / repair work either picked up by the field technicians or delivered directly to the specific site.

The Corporation is looking for an innovative supplier with ideas that could stream line the supply, delivery and ordering processes which could provide a more efficient and productive process for our field staff and technicians
