Supply and installation of 90kW solar PV system and inverters to be located at the Civic Centre Carpark and to supply power to the Alice Springs Public. The Alice Springs Town Public Library is located cnr Gregory Terrace & Leichhardt Terrace, Alice Springs.A carport structure has been designed and its construction will commence mid-May 2016. The design of the structure is provided below.

The solar tender (2016-10PLT) is for the design and installation of solar PV panels to be located on the carport structure. The panels will be required to fit as accurately as possible to the design of the carport and are to provide the canopy for the carport, which will have no roofing under the solar panels. The tilt angle of the carport will be 5⁰ and will be west-facing.
