Nelson St Car Park Expansion Joint Replacement

⁠⁠⁠Fairfield City Council (Principal) is seeking quotations from appropriately qualified and experienced respondents for the removal and replacement of car park deck expansion joints, at Nelson Street Car Park; located at 7 Nelson Street, Fairfield.

Works relating to this Request For Quotation are for the removal and replacement of existing expansion joints, located within the multi-level vehicle parking facility. The purpose of these works are to make good the seals at expansion points between concrete deck slabs by failing expansion joint material currently in place. See attached location maps for locations.

These works are limited to the expansion joints located on decks at levels one (1) and two (2) respectively. Car park decks are of concrete slab construction, poured in situ. The structure does not contain pre-stressed or post tension components.

Works are to be undertaking after hours and on limited days: Monday to Wednesday from 6.00 pm to 6.00 am only.

Onsite traffic management will be required, by isolating the work sites on individual decks to vehicles and pedestrian traffic

Quotation close at 2.30 pm AEST on Wednesday 25 May 2016 and submissions must be received in full prior to this time.
