Great Lakes Council covers an area of 3,373 square kilometres and housing a population of approx. 36,499. The area is located approximately three hours' drive north of Sydney on the Mid-North Coast between Port Stephens Council to the south, Greater Taree City Council to the north and Gloucester in the west.

Council is seeking proposals for the reliable and cost effective Provision of Hired Plant and Equipment (Including Trucks).

Submissions are invited from fully qualified / licenced Contractors for the establishment of a pre-qualified Panel who will provide Council with a range of Hired Plant and Equipment on an 'as required' basis for a period of one year from 1 July 2016.

Tenders close at 2pm on Tuesday 7 June 2016. Responses should be submitted as per the instructions in the attached Conditions of Tendering.

The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted and any action or contact that may be considered as an attempt to influence a decision of Councillors or Staff shall disqualify the relevant tender. Late, verbal, or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
