Purchase and Removal of Scrap Metal

⁠⁠⁠Sydney Trains’ objective is to dispose of fixed & non-fixed assets including obsolete inventory items and surplus materials from completed projects.

There are 2 Collection Site categories of works, which subject to the outcome of the RFT, are proposed to be awarded to a single Buyer (for both categories) or two Buyers (one per category).
* Category 1 for purchase and removal of scrap steel, wheels and axles from the UGL Unipart site located at 1 Manchester Road, Auburn NSW.
* Category 2 for the purchase and removal of scrap steel, rail and rail attachments from sites other than from the UGL Unipart site.

The metal bins which will contain the scrap, are expected to be owned and managed by the Buyer.
