Tender Description
The Town of Narrogin, under section 3.58 of the Local Government Act, is seeking tenders from interested parties for the purchase of the property located at the corner of Fairway and Herald Street being lots 106,107 and 108 Fairway St Narrogin and is being sold as one property.
The site is for sale in its current condition with all infrastructure, buildings and smaller structures in place and these will become the ownership of the successful tenderer. The site is currently zoned "Public Utilities in TPS2" and is being sold with the understanding that any change to the zoning by the purchaser in the future will require further contamination investigation and potential remedial work. The proposed Joint Town Planning Scheme 3 rezones the site to 'Service Industry'.
The site is currently tenanted under a month by month periodical by Narrogin Toyota for vehicle servicing and storage and the site can be continued to be used under the conditions of “Service Industry".
A combined preliminary and detailed site investigation for contaminants will be provided by the Town of Narrogin to any genuine tenderer. This report is being provided to the Department of Environment and Regulation for assessment for the site to be reclassified to “Remediated for Restricted Use”. This advice is expected to be received by the Town of Narrogin by 10 June 2016.

Please note due to the commercial nature of the information being provided it will only be supplied to genuine tenderer. Tenders addressing the selection criteria are to be submitted to the Town of Narrogin by 4.00pm on 13 May 2016.
All tenderers are to be advised that as per the Local Government Act that if a tender is accepted it will be in what is “in the opinion of the local government, the most acceptable tender, whether or not it is the highest tender”.
