Kangaroo Island Council is seeking quotes for the design of a replacement set of stairs to the Prospect Hill Lookout on Kangaroo Island.

Prospect Hill is located on Hog Bay Road in the Hundred of Dudley CR/5760/419, approximately 25km from Penneshaw. The majority of the structure is located on land owned by the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Recourses but managed by Kangaroo Island Council.

The current structure was constructed approximately 25 years ago from treated pine and access has recently been closed due to various safety concerns. The structure provides pedestrian access to Prospect Hill Lookout with views to the Southern Ocean and Pelican Lagoon. The landmark is listed in the Kangaroo Island Council Development Plan as a Local Heritage Place.
