The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites tenders for the provision of Truss Structures for 2016 to 2018 Sydney New Year's Eve with an option to extend to 2019 & 2020 in accordance with this request for tender .

Sydney New Year's Eve is produced annually by the City with the cooperation and operational support of other state government agencies and landowners. As a hallmark event, Sydney New Year's Eve continues to sustain an unrivalled record of safety and security, crowd management and operational delivery. The reputational and global event brand recognition benefits of Sydney New Year's Eve provides direct financial benefit to the state economy of approximately $133 million annually.

As part of the production of Sydney New Year's Eve, the City produces a number of ticketed events, which require the services of an experienced Truss Structures Service Provider. These outdoor harbour foreshore events include; the Lord Mayor's Party on the Northern Broadwalk of the Sydney Opera House, and the Dawes Point Viewing Area at Hickson Road Reserve in The Rocks.

Tenders close at 11AM AEST on 17 May 2016 and submissions must be fully received by this time.
