Tender Description

The City of Belmont made history in 1997 by becoming one of the first Councils in Western Australia to provide residents with a 24-hour security patrol service. Council made this landmark decision as it firmly believed that every resident has the right to live in a safe and secure community.

The City of Belmont’s Community Security Watch Service is about making the City an even safer place to live.

The purpose of the Community Security Watch Service is to contribute to the reduction of the risk of crime and the fear of crime in the community. The Principalhas identified that its role is to assist the community in providing a safer and more secure environment in which homes, community space and commercial premises are less likely to be burgled or damaged and where people can feel safe to move freely throughout their community without fear of crime, violence or anti-social behaviour.
