Queens Park Drainage - Drainage Rehabilitation Works Stage 1B

⁠⁠⁠Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the proposed works involve the replacement of the existing stormwater culvert and concrete lid, which forms the existing footpath in the park.

The walls of the existing stormwater culvert will be demolished and a new precast concrete box culvert will be laid inverted on the existing culvert base. A new concrete lid will be precast to the same size and shape of the existing lid and installed on the new stormwater culvert for a length of 60m. A small section of existing footpath will be realigned to create a more desirable link for pedestrians.

Tenders must be clearly marked “WKS11 - 15/16 - Queens Park Drainage - Drainage Rehabilitation Works - Stage 1B” and must be lodged into Council’s electronic Tender box by using the button below, by no later than 11:00am Thursday 26th May 2016.

The time of receipt of the tender is the time at which it is received by Council into the electronic tender box not the time that the sender sends the email. Electronic submissions can be no bigger than 30MB in size. If your email exceeds this size limit you may submit multiple emails all clearly marked “Email 1 of 3, 2 of 3” etc. or alternatively a disc/USB containing the additional information, clearly marked with the tender details can be delivered to 77 Tavistock Street, Torquay and placed into the tender box.
