Disposal of Scrap Metal from Meru Landfill

⁠⁠⁠The City of Greater Geraldton invites submissions for the removal of its stockpile of scrap metal from the Meru Landfill site. There is an estimated 5,000 tonnes of light gauge steel available.

The City will accept the submission that is most advantageous to the City. The successful submitter will:
* Remove the scrap metal when the Landfill is closed (night time).
* Provide all of their own equipment, labour and lighting.
* Operate in accordance with Safety regulations.
* Remove all scrap by 30 June 2016.
* Pay all invoices issued by the City within 30 days.

The City requires the respondent to submit a price per tonne as measured by the Meru Landfill weighbridge.

Submissions may be submitted via email to council@cgg.wa.gov.au with "Disposal of Scrap Metal from Meru Landfill" stated in the subject line.

Alternatively submissions may be forwarded in a sealed envelope clearly marked Disposal of Scrap Metal at Meru Landfill and posted to PO Box 101 Geraldton WA 6531.

The successful submitter will be contacted by phone or email by 12 May 2016.

The Closing Date for submission is 12.00pm 5 May 2016.
