Nexus Delivery is seeking an EOI from suitably qualified companies for demolition and asbestos removal (licensed asbestos removal contractors) on the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing Project.
The Scope of works includes the demolition of ten houses and structures listed that are generally located within the Project corridor and owned by the Department of Transport and Main Roads. Asbestos Survey reports have been conducted by Nexus Delivery with Asbestos Containing Materials being identified in almost all buildings to be demolished.
These works will require the development of an Asbestos Removal Control Plan prior to the commencement of asbestos removal. The type of license required by the licensed contractor will be in accordance with WHSQ Regulation 2011.
The structures will be demolished progressively from mid-2016 through to Late 2018 dependent on project requirements.
Potential Subcontractors responding to this EOI shall prove their capabilities for the performance of the works and the provision of all personnel, plant and equipment required to undertake the works in a quality, safe and timely manner.
