There are about 400 bus shelters within the Blacktown local government area including 91 advertising bus shelters. Council has an agreement with a company to manage the advertising bus shelters. The agreement expires in August 2017.

This Expression of Interest seeks to identify suitably qualified and experienced companies interested in tendering for the design, fabrication, supply, installation and maintenance of public domain furniture and bus shelters. Subsequently tenders will be called from shortlisted companies to:

Part A:
* Replace some or all of the existing advertising bus shelters with new advertising bus shelters or a combination of advertising and non-advertising bus shelters, maintain and regularly clean at no cost to Council.
* Proposal to replace non advertising bus shelters at no cost to Council.
* Enter into commercial arrangements for the sale of media space on bus shelters.

Part B:
* Design, fabricate, supply and install high quality public domain coordinated suite of furniture (seats and benches, bins, bollards).
