Supply of Traffic Modelling Services Review of Tweed Road Development Strategy

⁠⁠⁠Tweed Shire Council is seeking to engage the services of a suitably qualified and experienced traffic consultant to undertake a review of the Tweed Road Development Strategy (TRDS).

The TRDS is Council's main strategy for the provision of road network upgrades to meet the increased traffic demands of development and population growth. The network recommendations from the TRDS form the basis of a works program for the Tweed Road Contribution Plan.

The successful consultant will establish a calibrated traffic model for the Tweed Shire local government area, input contemporary growth and road upgrade assumptions, and test scenarios to optimise the future road network. The consultant will report the findings of the modelling to Council.
