Back Capture Digitisation Project

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited for the provision of digitisation services for Hunter Waters Back Capture Digitisation Project for a contracted period of 1 year with 3x1 year extension options.

Hunter Water is currently undertaking a project on the Back Capture Digitisation of hardcopy, historic files. A Pilot project was conducted, which was limited to 7,000 Reports & Manuals stored in the corporate library. This has now been completed, and Hunter Water is looking to progress with the next collection of hardcopy files to be digitised.

The scope of work for this engagement is the digitisation of the files stored at Hunter Water's Burwood Beach office only which includes 44,096 files, totalling approximately 2,675,580 pages.

This project aims to digitise the hardcopy files for storage in Hunter Water's Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS) to a standard that is compliant with State Records Authority of NSW regulations for electronic record keeping. All existing metadata will be ratified and included with the record in the EDRMS.
