Tender Description
The scope of the work incorporates the disposal (by auction) of Ergon Energy’s fleet assets which include, but is not limited to the following:
* Motor vehicles (including passenger, light commercial vehicles and light services trucks);
* Truck and Machinery such as MEWPs, Crane Borers; and
* A variety of plant equipment such as Trailers, Forklifts, UTV’s, Mini Diggers etc.
The services required will cover the timely completion of the disposal process from a vehicle transport request, through auction to point of sale and remittance of all proceeds.
In the first 12 months Ergon Energy expects the estimated quantity of vehicles / fleet assets to be auctioned would be in the vicinity of 300 - 400.
The Contract will commence on 1 July 2016 and the practical completion date for all work associated with this Contract will be 30 June 2018. Ergon Energy has allowed for three (3) contract extension options each of one (1) year duration. In any case, Ergon Energy will at its sole discretion determine if the Contractor is to be offered an extension during the life of the Contract.
