Tender Description
Council is seeking professional consulting services to prepare a Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan for the village of Glenreagh and nearby lands as indicated in the project brief.
The objectives of the consultancy are:
To prepare a Floodplain Risk Management Study (FRMS), which identifies and assesses possible options to mitigate the flood risks for the study area in general and more specifically within the township of Glenreagh; and
To prepare a Floodplain Risk Management Plan (FRMP), which details how flood prone land within the study area is to be managed, by adopting the preferred plan from the FRMS. The FRMP must be prepared in accordance with the NSW Floodplain Development Manual 2005.Electronic copy of the brief is attached. No hardcopy is to be provided.

Proposals should be submitted via Electronic Tender Box available on Council's E-Tendering Portal, www.tenderlink.comm/clarence with the project title: 'Proposal for Glenreagh Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan' in the subject line.
The closing date for submission of proposals is 3pm, 18 April 2016. Proposals lodged by facsimile will not be accepted. Proposals lodged after the closing time and date will not be accepted.
