Tender Details
Tender Description
Western Sydney University (the University) seeks suitable software offerings for the supply and implementation of an Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) to meet the business requirements of the Capital Works & Facilities (CW&F) business unit.
CW&F is responsible for managing a substantial property portfolio that plays a key role in supporting the strategic objectives of The University. The asset base under CW&F management continues to grow in line with the capital works program:
University expenditure on new buildings and building upgrades from 2007 to 2014 reached $700 Million (with associated higher building complexity and increased criticality to maintain).
The average capital expenditure forecasted for the next 3 years is $58 Million per annum; and the total replacement value of the University's portfolio as of 2015-2016 stands at over $2 billion.
In early 2012, CW&F senior management recognised that the technical information systems supporting CW&F operations have not matured in line with the changes that have taken place within the business over the years.
As a result of this, the University is seeking to implement a new IWMS to modernise CWF operations and supporting processes and thus, ensure business continuity and support of this critical function in the future.
