Matatoki to Puriri Watermain Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠Thames Coromandel District Council invite suitably qualified contractors to provide tenders for the upgrading the existing water supply infrastructure in the area south of Thames.

The works include but is not limited to the following:
* Installation of 180OD PE100 SDR11 PN16 watermain between Matatoki Road and Wainui Road (Stage 1);
* Installation of 180OD PE100 SDR11 PN16 watermain between the property at 8938 State Highway 26 to Puriri Valley Road (Stage 2);
* Construction of connection points to the existing reticulation networks, with all associated fixtures and fittings, at Puriri and Matatoki;
* Supply and installation of blank caps, with all associated fixtures and fittings, at the extents of Stages 1 and 2;
* Crossing of all bridges and culverts encountered along the proposed alignment;
* Location and protection of all services on the proposed pipeline alignment;
* Reinstatement of all construction areas to their pre-construction condition or better;
* Supply and installation of all other fixtures and fittings, including sluice valves, air valves, scour points and fire hydrants.

The majority of the installation will be done via trenching, with exceptions given for locations where trenchless installation is required.
