This RFT is for the establishment of a panel of suppliers that are capable of supplying Goods from one or more of the three categories, being steel goods, timber goods and cork goods.

Corrective Services Industries (CSI) intends to establish a panel of suppliers comprising organisations that can demonstrate the appropriate resources, capability and experience in supplying and delivering the goods to organisations that own or manage large geographically distributed portfolios. It is CSI’s preference that suppliers are a distributer or re-seller for all Goods within a category. However, the capacity to supply all goods within a category is not a mandatory requirement.

Following are locations to which the goods may need to be delivered:

* Dawn De Loas Correctional Centre
* Goulburn Correctional Complex
* John Morony Correctional Centr
* Kirkconnell Correctional Centre
* Mid North Coast Correction Centre
* South Coast Correctional Centre
* St Heliers Correctional Centre
* Tamworth Correctional Centre
* Wellington Correctional Centre

Suppliers must possess the capability to supply the goods to the locations required by CSI, including those identified above and any additional correctional centres from time to time.

CSI will place a purchase order for goods to be provided as a single delivery or for multiple deliveries. Orders for single deliveries will generally be placed on an as needs basis. Where goods are used on a regular basis, an order may be placed for recurrent deliveries over a stipulated time period. CSI will endeavour to provide Suppliers with a minimum of one-week lead-time between order placement and the stipulated delivery date.

The goods will be charged on a unit price basis. The unit prices must include all manufacture, warehousing and supply costs. In relation to delivery charges, Suppliers may either stipulate free-in-store delivery or charge delivery on a rates basis.

The panel arrangement will be for a term of three years plus two optional extension periods, each of one-year duration.

A non-mandatory pre-tender briefing will be held on Tuesday 8 March 2016 at the Henry Deane Building, Level 1, Meeting Rooms 3 and 4. Tenderers should submit the Intention to Respond form to the Contact Officer to advise of their attendance.
