Tender Description
Tenders are called for the delivery of services to support young people, aged 15 to 19, disengaged from education and training and struggling to make effective transitions into sustainable employment, to re-engage in education and training and support their transitions to employment.
Regional VET Pathways service providers are required to deliver case management of young disengaged people aged 15-19 years old, involving industry grounded career and transition advice, brokerage of transitions into training and employment, mentoring and brokerage of other support as required.
The Regional VET Pathways initiative will target five diverse regions characterized by significant numbers of young people aged 15 to 19 years of age not in study or work, including:
1. Richmond – Tweed
2. Mid North Coast
3. Capital
4. Central West
5. New England/North West
Following an open tender in late 2015 service delivery contracts were awarded for the Richmond – Tweed; Mid North Coast; and Capital regions. Tenders are now called for a second time for the services in the Central West and New England North West regions. Service contracts for each region will be for 4 years.
