This capability will also be responsible for the data quality and metadata management and business transformation rules required to sanitise and prepare data for analysis and reporting.
* A data storage platform to store and manage structured, semi-structured and unstructured data both physically and logically within the platform.
* A visualisation capability that can provide dynamic, interactive dashboards and reports, can be consumed across a wide range of mediums (web, mobile devices, embedded within applications) and integrates will geospatial maps and advanced statistical analysis packages.
At its inception, there will be two specific use-cases of the platform.
The first use case is to provide a comprehensive analytics platform - referred to as the DAC Resource Portal (DACRP) for the Data Analytics Centre.
The second use case is to provide a supplier granular sales data analytics solution - referred to as the Procurement Analytics (PA) for the NSW Procurement team.
More detail on these use cases will be outlined in the tender documents.
In both cases, DFSI expect to leverage a single analytics platform comprising of the same component technologies, with a logical separation of data. The deployment outcomes will differ based on their user requirements.
