Stage 1A Overview
A bulk earthworks contract has been let over Stage 1A and adjoining areas, an 11Kv power feed will be relocated as part of that contract which will also require the installation of a portion of sewerage reticulation adjacent to the relocated 11Kv power feed.
The site will be delivered to the successful respondent with bulk earthworks complete and fully cleared.
Stage 1A is a 9 ha site that will be the CBD core of the project and will have a high level of finishes from pavements to both hard and soft scape elements.
The construction scope of work will consist of but not be limited to the following elements:
* Pavements both granular and full depth asphalt
* Sewerage reticulation
* Water reticulation
* Electrical reticulation
* Smart city conduit installation
* Storm water drainage
* Underground pneumatic waste collection trunk infrastructure
* Traffic Bridges
* Signalisation and extension of two existing intersections
* Signalised internal intersections
* A 3,000 sqm town centre park consisting of hard and soft scape and custom steel structures
* Re-engineering of a section of the Maud Drain into a Public Corso consisting of revetment walled water way with both hard and soft scape
Stage 1A has been designed and documented by Cardno, with landscape designed and documented by a Tract Consulting led design group.
